Our story
Sarmas Jewels began with a simple frustration: gold jewellery was either too precious to wear or too disposable to keep. We set out to make the middle ground.
Made to be worn
Every piece is designed in our London studio and finished by hand by a small team of goldsmiths. We work in 18ct gold vermeil over recycled sterling silver, 9ct solid gold and gold-plated stainless steel — materials chosen because they survive real life.
Our palette is deliberately narrow: warm gold against deep black. It is the pairing that runs through the jewellery, the packaging and the store you are looking at.
Responsibly sourced
All gold used in our vermeil and solid gold pieces is recycled. Stones are sourced from suppliers who can trace their origin, and our freshwater pearls come from a single family-run farm.
Packaging is plastic-free: a black lacquer box, gold foil, and a recycled cotton pouch.
